SCHINDLER’S LIST

Not a classic in the vintage sense, but nevertheless a film to be watched and treasured and learned from, Schindler’s List is a historic period drama based on the novel, Schindler’s Ark, by Australian novelist Thomas Kenneally. The film tells the story of Oskar Schindler, who saved more than 1,000 Polish Jews from the Holocaust by employing them in his factories. A box office success, the film, which was made on a budget of $22 million, went on to gross over $322 million across the globe.

The king of the Bad Piggies plots revenge, and the war is on, until a new enemy forces the Birds and the Pigs to forge an unlikely alliance.

Batla House

August 15 Directed by Nikhil Advani Starring John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur Based on Mumbai Police’s Batla House encounter that took place in September 2008, the film promises to be an out-and-out action thriller.

Chhichhore

August 30 Directed by Nitesh Tiwari Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma A rom-com from the director of Dangal seems to be an interesting idea to watch out for. All that the cast and crew have revealed so far is that it is a tale of ‘timepass’.
