Ajmer
Perhaps most famed for being home to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti’s dargah, Ajmer also has attractions other than the purely spiritual ones. Like the historically relevant Akbar’s Palace & Museum, which has a lot of artifacts from the Mughal era and otherwise. Other top spots to visit include Ana Sagar Lake, Ratengarh Fort, and Taragarh Fort.

Ranthambore
Here’s some more fun for the wildlife and nature enthusiasts. This is one of the largest national parks in north India and a tiger sighting is pretty much the norm here. Sariska
The Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary is a tiger reserve, and is also home to leopards and hyenas, besides a whole host of deer, monkeys and other jungle life. It’s your best bet if you like your having fun in the wild. You could also check out the Sariska Palace, which once served as a hunting lodge for the royals. Also nearby are the Neelkath Temple, the Naldeshwar Temple and the ruins of the Bhartrihari Temples.

Mandawa
