A take on an eponymous novel by Robert Bloch, Psycho went down in history as one of Alfred Hitchcock’s best films. The story centres around a secretary on the run with her employer’s money, and her encounter with the emotionally disturbed Norman Bates who runs the motel she stays in during the trip. The movie often finds itself listed in the rankings that list the all-time greatest movies. The film got four Oscar nominations, including one for Best Director
