Classic Reel: Bride of Frankenstein
A sequel to Frankenstein, Bride Of Frankenstein was acclaimed to be one of those rare second outings that do better than the first. In the film, Henry Frankenstein, played by Colin Clive, sets out to create a mate for the Monster, on the urging of his evil mentor, Dr. Septimus Pretorius. Unfortunately, the bride rejects the Monster who burns down the tower in which the lab is housed. A technically impressive film, the sequel is still good enough to be frightening.
