Breast cancer. These words will be repeated time and again in this issue of the magazine. Undoubtedly, since it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month worldwide, you will also be bombarded with a lot of information regarding the disease through various media. We hope you will take the messages to heart. This is not just a month-long campaign, but a campaign for life. For the life of the women, and men, you hold dear. Eat healthy, exercise, reduce stress and get yourself screened if you are at risk. And encourage your loved ones, friends and family, to do so as well.

Our issue is not a bleak one, though. We are talking about hope, resilience, happiness, as you will see in our Photo Essay. We are talking about organizations that are spreading the word about breast cancer signs and symptoms, like The Pink Initiative. Of startups like MyCliniCare, which are focused on early, painless, easy breast cancer detection.

Our cover story is perhaps the best example of inspiration and motivation. The Pinkathon, started by Milind Soman and Reema Sanghvi, is today getting to be a household name in India. Everyone, from celebrities to women who are aged more than 100 years, is running for their fitness, even becoming Pinkathon Ambassadors. We have a whole lot of inspiration packaged for you in this time’s cover story. Come, be a part of the change.
