Strawberry shake

Yummy and nutrition-packed, this berrylicious shake is good for convalescing patients.

What you will need:

  • 2 dates
  • ¼ cup raw cashew nuts
  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice and water, as needed

How to prepare:

  • Blend all ingredients at high speed in a mixer.
  • Keep covered, and serve chilled.

Dairy-free banana nut shake

This dairy-free shake ensures you will have no stomach upsets, while the banana and nuts will keep you energized.

What you will need:

  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp non-dairy protein powder
  • 1 cup soy milk or almond milk
  • Ice cubes

How to prepare:

  • Blend all ingredients at high speed in a mixer.
  • Serve chilled.
