Describe yourself in a sentence.

I am a quiet and simple person. What keeps me motivated is the fact that I love what I do.

What inspired you to choose this profession?

Health is wealth, as we have all learned right from our younger days. Health must be valued above everything else. When someone is sick or injured, their normal life gets disrupted. Doctors have the opportunity to restore their life back to normal. And this is very inspiring to me. This is the reason I chose to become a doctor.

Your favourite pastime.

I love spending time with family. And yes, I enjoy watching movies on TV.

One thing that you love the most about Nagaland.

Nagaland is renowned for its scenic, natural beauty. And that is, of course, what I love most about the place.

A person whom you look up to.

My father. He has been a constant support for me, and he is the one to motivate me whenever I feel discouraged.

Do you like to read?

Most of my reading consists of subject journals. Other than that, I do find time to peruse travel magazines.

How do you unwind in order to get back on track?

The one thing that really rejuvenates me is good sleep. Relaxing a bit, and then hitting the bed for uninterrupted sleep is what gets me back on track.

If you are given the power to eradicate one of the evils that exist in our society, what it would it be?

Inequality in society; this has to be wiped out.

Favourite travel destination.

Maldives.

What is your most cherished memory from your college days?

I studied at the Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College and Research Centre, Moradabad. The best memory of those days is a bike tour that I took with my friends to Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand
